The Finance Ministry has prepared three versions of the state budget, but the one that will be coordinated with the ministries, employers and trade unions envisages a deficit of 6.6%. "It is formed while maintaining all existing policies and regulations without changing the budgets’ revenue and expenditure sides", Minister Velkova explained. Rositsa Velkova said that Bulgaria’s budget will end 2022 with a 5.4% deficit on an accrual basis and a 3.4% deficit on a cash basis.
