Bulgarian folklore ensembles from all over the world are gathering in Sofia from November 11 to 13th , 2022. This will be a meeting-seminar, the purpose of which is to start a series of annual meetings of the leaders of similar formations of Bulgarians abroad, Radoslava Nedyalkova, chairman of the Association of Bulgarian Folk Ensembles Abroad has told BTA.
So far, leaders of more than 20 associations from 15 European countries have decided to take part, as four of them have choral formations. An updated database is about to be created on the number of groups that exist abroad. According to unofficial data, there are more than 100 ensembles in Europe and even more in America.
