MPs from the National Assembly Committee on e-Government and Information Technology expressed concern that the Parliament’s decision to provide military aid to Ukraine could give rise to another cyber attack.

However, Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of e-government Georgi Todorov, has assured that measures have already been taken. "We are trying to take preventive measures. Bulgaria is subject to cyber attacks on a daily basis, but we are constantly taking care of this", Georgi Todorov said. In mid-October, the websites of the Presidency and 13 other government institutions were the target of a large-scale cyberattack by the Russian hacking group KillNet.
