On Archangel All Soul’s Day, 5 November, a ceremony will take place at the mausoleum in the central Sofia cemetery to commemorate the fallen Bulgarian soldiers, the presidential press service has announced. The ceremony will be attended by President Rumen Radev.

A little later, a traditional military and religious ritual is to take place at the Bulgarian military cemetery in the village of Tsapari in the Republic of North Macedonia, attended by Vice President Iliana Iotova. The cemetery was created during WWI when 214 Bulgarian soldiers and officers were buried there, and is the first restored Bulgarian military cemetery on the territory of North Macedonia.

Before the ceremony, Iliana Iotova will attend the opening of an exhibition “125 years Bulgarian diplomatic mission in Bitola” at the Bulgarian Consulate General in Bitola.
