MEP Radan Kanev: The second cabinet-forming mandate is the key

Few things are now more dangerous for Bulgaria than a government formed for 6 months, because no serious policy or legislative programme can be implemented in such a short period of time. The creation of such a government would mean an extended election campaign, MEP Radan Kanev said for the BNR.

According to him, it is logical to focus on the second cabinet-forming mandate, because there is a real risk that President Rumen Radev will hand the third exploratory government-forming mandate to the Bulgarian Socialist Party for the fourth time, which almost certainly means new elections. According to MEP Radan Kanev, new early elections would not be a way out of the political crisis.
