Migrant smugglers from 17 countries identified in Bulgaria

There has been a significant increase in the number of crimes and pre-trial proceedings related to the migrant wave, the District Prosecutor's Office-Burgas said. 380 cases related to the migration flow have been initiated at the District Prosecutor's Office in Burgas. 

In the words of Commissioner Emil Pavlov, Deputy Director of the Burgas Police, the profile of the migrant smugglers has changed. "It is notable that perpetrators from 17 countries have been identified since the beginning of the year, including Germany anc France, not just Eastern Bloc countries", Commissioner Pavlov pointed out.
