"Bulgarian Christmas" has been uniting the society in support of children's healthcare for 20 years

At a ceremony in the Bulgarian presidency for the validation of a new postage stamp "20 years of the Bulgarian Christmas charity initiative”, the Head of State Rumen Radev awarded with certificates the Children's Choir of the BNR led by maestro Venetsia Karamanova and the Bulgarian national rhythmic gymnastics team. The awards are for contribution to the "Bulgarian Christmas" charity initiative and the nobility, empathy, kindness and concern for children's health.

According to the Bulgarian President, "Bulgarian Christmas" unites the entire society around the initiative dedicated to children's healthcare. Thanks to the active support of Bulgarians, in 2022 "Bulgarian Christmas" had a budget of nearly one and a half million euros and was able to support 517 Bulgarian children with severe chronic diseases, as well as to provide high-tech medical equipment for diagnosis and modern treatment to 22 medical institutions.
