BSP calls on President to impose veto on decision to send weapons to Ukraine

The parliamentary group of "BSP for Bulgaria" called on President Rumen Radev to impose a veto on the law on ratification of the agreement for the provision of arms to Ukraine, the party's press center announced.

Yesterday, the National Assembly decided to send weapons to the attacked country. In a letter to the head of state, the BSP points out two groups of reasons for imposing a veto - constitutional and legal, as well as moral and political. The leftists also refers to the president's public statements against the involvement of Bulgaria in the war in Ukraine.
