The festival for urban culture and music Sofia Live Festival has advanced to the final stage of the prestigious European Festival Awards. The public voting began on November 14. Sofia Live Festival was nominated for “Best New Festival”, the BTA reports. “More than 40 000 people have voted from all over Europe and we are the only festival in the region who got nominated! Proud, Happy and excited for the future!”, the festival’s organizers said.
The twelfth edition of the European Festival Awards will take place on 18 January in Groningen, the Netherlands.
