At the "Powers Summit" in Sofia: 57% of Bulgarians thought their lives were better before the political changes after November 1989

"In the political limbo we have witnessed months of political angst and disrupted dialogue. Never in Bulgarian history since the Liberation (1878 - ed.) has there been 5 consecutive elections in 24 months," said Dr. Plamen Rusev, Executive Chairman of Webit Foundation.

At the "Powers Summit" forum, organised by the foundation in Sofia, Trend polling agency announced the results of its survey. 57% of Bulgarians thought their lives were better before the political changes after November 1989.  Only 29% expect that life in the country will improve - mostly young people aged between 18 and 29. 68% are not satisfied with their income. 11% say they can save and over 46% are already spending from their savings.
