Bulgaria and Mongolia to cooperate in the field of science, culture and education

Bulgaria's Minister of Culture Prof. Velislav Minekov and the Ambassador of Mongolia to Bulgaria Lkhagvasuren Sayanaa signed a Programme for cooperation in the field of culture, education and science between the governments of the two countries, the press center of the ministry announced.

Under the programme, the two countries will cooperate in organizing exhibitions and festivals, exchanging theater performances and ensembles. Partnerships in the field of literature and translation, cooperation between libraries, museums and other cultural institutions, as well as film exchange, are also planned. Cultural centers will also be established on a reciprocal basis.
The programme also provides for the expansion of contacts between scientific institutions of Bulgaria and Mongolia, exchange of teachers and research associates, including between the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and the Mongolian Academy of Sciences and other scientific and research institutes.
