“The dynamic changes in the geopolitical context and the growing risks facing national and collective security mean that the armed forces must develop, much more dynamically, adequate defence capabilities, a high level of training of the army headquarters and formations, as well as an enhanced interoperability with our allies,” said President Rumen Radev at a ceremony, at which he conferred the rank of brigadier general on Hristo Ganetsovski, and appointed him Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces Command, a structure within the Bulgarian army in charge of the operational management of the military formations under its command.
