NSI: The number of Bulgarians travelling abroad has increased compared to November last year

 The number of Bulgarian citizens who travelled abroad in November 2022 increased by 8.9% compared to the number registered in November 2021, the National Statistical Institute said. The largest relative share is accounted for by trips for the purpose of visiting, studying, attending cultural and sports events - 49.2%, followed by those for holidays and excursions - 25.7%, and for business trips - 25.1%. 

In November 2022, Bulgarians traveled mainly to Turkey - 157,600, Greece - 85,100, Serbia - 43,800, Romania - 40,900, Germany - 25,700, Republic of North Macedonia - 23,300, Italy - 18,800, Austria - 17,800, United Kingdom - 15,200, Spain - 10,100.
