Before the National Assembly’s first sitting of the year, MPs from GERB party stated, in interviews with different TV channels, that they were prepared to support a government formed by Democratic Bulgaria.

Denitsa Sacheva and Toma Bikov stated that their party, GERB, was willing to support a government formed by Democratic Bulgaria on the third mandate, and that that was a nationally responsible position. The leaderships of the two parties are to meet to discuss their positions on the judicial reform which continues to be the dividing line between them.

“We expect of them a specific discussion on the judicial reform, so that we can see who stands there,” Sacheva said. “We shall do everything we can so a cabinet on the third mandate can be formed, even if we are not part of it,” she added.
