Bulgaria has not yet received an answer from Russia as to why investigative journalist Hristo Grozev is on its wanted list

"Bulgaria has not yet received an answer from Russia why investigative journalist Hristo Grozev is on its wanted list", caretaker Minister of Interior Ivan Demeredzhiev said from the parliamentary rostrum.

"I sent an official letter to the Russian Federation at the end of last year and called on Moscow to specify the reasons why Hristo Grozev was declared wanted. "This letter is currently transmitted through the diplomatic channel", Minister Demeredzhiev clarified. 

According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Interior, journalist Hristo Grozev is wanted for violating an article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation
