Bulgaria reports 121 new coronavirus cases, 2 Covid-related deaths in past day

121 is the number of new Covid-19 infections registered in the country out of 3,177 tests performed in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 4%, Single Coronavirus Information portal data show. 71% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.

The highest number of new cases was registered in Sofia-36, Plovdi-10 and Varna-9.

3,714 is the number of active cases of coronavirus infection.

354 patients with an established coronavirus infection are being treated in hospital, as 49 are in intensive care units. 33 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 64% of them were not vaccinated.

2 Covid-related deaths have been registered in the past day. 102 people have been reported cured. 220 vaccine doses were administered on Friday. 2,075,167 is the number of people with a completed vaccination.
