On 21 and 22 January, Bulgaria’s resort Bansko is to host for the third time the FIS Snowboard World Cup. The best snowboarders in the world will compete in Pirin Mountain for the third time after 2017 and 2018. Bansko is to host two starts- Parallel Giant Slalom (on January 21) and Parallel Slalom (on January 22). Bulgaria’s best snowboarder Radoslav Yankov, the FIS Crystal Globe winner for 2016, will also participate at the competition.

According to Chief of Race Viktor Gichev, conditions for snowboarding are suitable, despite the unusually mild winter weather. The official opening ceremony and the public bib draw will take place on January 20 on Bansko main square.
