"Remember that your most important task is to be ambassadors of Bulgaria in the United States." This is what US Ambassador to Bulgaria Herro Mustafa said when awarding Summer Work and Travel (SWT) visas to Bulgarian students.

Since 2000, more than 120 thousand young Bulgarians have participated in the SWT program, the Embassy said. During the ceremony, Herro Mustafa pointed out that now that it is the 120th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the United States and Bulgaria, the ties between the two nations have never been stronger and there is a determination to deepen them.
