Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 7 February 2023

Chilly Tuesday with sub-zero temperatures, no precipitation

On Tuesday, the cloudiness over Western and Central Bulgaria will decrease to sunny spells. In the east it will remain cloudy but almost without precipitation. 

Minimum temperatures tomorrow will drop to -10 °C, - 5 °C. In the capital Sofia - around minus 9 °C. In the high fields of Western Bulgaria it will be as low as -13 °C. 

The maximum temperatures on Tuesday will be from -3 °C to 2 °C, in Sofia - around - 2 °C.

A strong northerly wind will blow along the Black Sea coast. The maximum temperatures there will be from 0 to 2°C. The temperature of the sea water is at 6-8°C. The sea state will be rough, at 4-5 points.

In the mountains, strong northeasterly wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be -8°C, at 2,000 meters - as low as -15 8°C.

On Wednesday, it will remain cold with light snowfall in the north of the Balkan Range.
