Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Wednesday, February 8

Yellow code for low temperatures in 25 districts of the country

On Wednesday the minimum temperatures will be from minus 9 to minus 4°C, in Sofia - around minus 7°C. During the day it will be cloudy over most of the country. In southwestern Bulgaria it will be sunny. Snow will fall north of the Balkans and in the mountains. There will be moderate winds, strong northeasterly winds in eastern Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures will be from minus 1 to 4°C, in the capital - minus 1°C.

On the Black Sea coast it will be windy, with light snow. Maximum temperatures will be 1-2°C. The sea water temperature will be 6-7°C. The sea swell will be 4-5.

Over the mountains it will be cloudy with snow showers, more significant in the Central Balkan Mountains. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be minus 7°, at 2,000 m - up to minus 14°.

On Thursday, temperatures will remain low but without precipitation.
