Bulgaria reports 2 Covid-related deaths in past day

41 is the number of new Covid-19 infections registered in the country out of 2,978 tests performed in the past 24 hours, 7 down on the previous day. The positivity rate stands at 1.4%, versus 1.6% the day before, Single Coronavirus Information portal data show. 63.8% of the new cases of coronavirus infection are among the unvaccinated.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection decreased with 16 to 2,621. 5 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 1 of them was not inoculated against Covid-19. 200 patients with an established coronavirus infection are being treated in hospital, as 24 are in intensive care units.

2 Covid-related deaths have been registered in the past day. 55 people have been reported cured.

91 vaccine doses were administered on Thursday.
