Early bookings in tourism since the beginning of the year are more compared to the previous one, announced the official Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov at a discussion in Varna. Among the foreign tourists who want to spend their vacation in Bulgaria there are many from Germany, Romania and Israel.

The minister added that at the moment there are almost no vacancies in the winter resorts.
"Our great success is that we managed to keep 450,000 Bulgarians more than in the pre-covid year to spend their vacation in the country," he pointed out.

Ilin Dimitrov also said that there are still outstanding amounts under the program for housing Ukrainian refugees, but a final revision is pending so that no hoteliers are harmed.
