74th edition of the oldest boxing tournament in Europe has started in Sofia

In the period February 20 to 26, the 74th edition of the oldest boxing tournament in Europe - "Strandja", takes place in Sofia. More than 470 boxers from 42 countries are expected to participate. The teams of Russia and Ukraine will be absent. However, the Belarusian team will participate without the national flag and national symbols at the insistence of the president of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation, Krasimir Ininski.

Bulgaria will be represented by 12 men and 6 women, but without prominent competitors Daniel Asenov and Radoslav Pantaleev.

The matches are broadcast live on the Bulgarian Boxing Federation YouTube channel.
