Sevda Asenova wins gold at the 74th International Boxing Tournament "Strandzha”

Sevda Assenova (48 kg) won a gold medal at the 74th International Boxing Tournament "Strandzha”. In the women's lightweight final the thirty eight-year-old Bulgarian, who has a bronze medal from the 2022 Women’s Boxing Championships and two gold medals from European boxing championships, defeated Saidakhan Rahmonova (Uzbekistan) by unanimous decision.

Later, Svetlana Kamenova (57kg) and Stanimira Petrova (54kg) earned two more gold medals for Bulgaria. Svetlana Kamenova defeated  4:1 Xu Zichun (China). Stanimira Petrova defeated Sandra Drabik (Poland) by unanimous decision.
