The deadline for filing applications to vote abroad ends at midnight

Applications for voting abroad for the April 2 parliamentary elections can be submitted until 12 pm on March 7. There are already nearly 39,000 applications submitted through the electronic system on the website of the Central Election Commission. 

Over 24,000 applications are from Turkey. More than 2,200 came from Germany and Great Britain, more than 1,700 from the USA. Many applications for voting come from Spain and the Netherlands

Also, until March 7, Bulgarian communities abroad can make proposals to the heads of diplomatic and consular services for the location of polling stations.

By March 11, the Central Election Commission must decide on the locations and number of polling stations abroad.
