European Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton arrives in Bulgaria to negotiate ammunition for Ukraine

EU Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton arrives in Bulgaria on Wednesday /15 March/ for a meeting with representatives of the defence industry, public TV BNT reports, quoting European Commission official. The purpose of the visit is to encourage the arms industry to quickly increase its production capacity in order to ensure the availability of ammunition for Ukraine.

Last week, at the informal meeting of defence ministers in Stockholm, a plan was discussed to increase funding for ammunition for Ukraine by another €2 billion.
