112 new Covid-19 cases, no coronavirus-related deaths

112 is the number of new Covid-19 infections registered in the country out of 2,883 tests performed in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 4%. Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 51% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.

The highest number of new Covid-19 cases was registered in Sofia-32, Varna-12 and Plovdiv-9.

23 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 52% of them were not inoculated against Covid-19. 262 patients with an established coronavirus infection are being treated in hospital, as 29 are in intensive care units.

No Covid-related deaths have been registered in the past day. 16 people have been reported cured. 2,961 is the number of active cases of coronavirus infection.

96 vaccine doses were administered on Wednesday. 2,076,302 is the number of people with a completed vaccination.
