Air Force and Army unhappy with media comments on national security

It is dangerous when people with ambitions, but without commitments and responsibilities to Bulgaria's defence, threaten our security with their statements, says an official statement of the Bulgarian Air Force and the Bulgarian Army. The open letter was published in connection with numerous TV interviews with interlocutors whose positions and statements undermine the prestige of Bulgarian combat aviation and mislead the Bulgarian society, the Air Force explained on its Facebook page.

"Political statements and comments are in favour of disposing of available aviation equipment for the benefit of other countries without regard to national losses, but they connot offer a vision for its replacement so that our country can protect its own air sovereignty," the Air Force added.
