At an extraordinary evening meeting, the Central Election Commission (CEC) tasked experts to check 446 voting machines that will be used during the forthcoming elections on April 2. The aim is to ensure that there will be no manipulations during the installation of the software and the hash codes.

CEC has also proposed a procedure for replacing the faulty video surveillance cameras and that the procedure be carried out on the election silence day – April 1. There will be no video monitoring in polling stations abroad, as well as in detention facilities, social institutes, hospitals and on ships. 11, 818 polling stations will be opened in Bulgaria for the snap elections.
