Viktoriya Tomova climbs 23 spots in world tennis ranking

Bulgarian tennis player, Viktoriya Tomova, has climbed 23 spots in the rankings of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). As of today, she occupies 75th position in the world ranking with 777 points.

The Bulgarian has successfully opened her season on clay and won her biggest title for the past four years. Tomova qualified for the final of the W80 tournament in the Spanish city of Zaragoza without losing a set and won 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 against Teresa Martincova from Czechia. In Tomova's career, this has been her 17th tournament title.

This week, she will play in the W100 tournament in the Portuguese city of Oeiras.
