We Continue the Change/ DB will not support a government on the mandate of GERB/SDS

The second biggest political force in parliament We Continue the Change/ Democratic Bulgaria will not support a government on the mandate of the first political force- GERB/SDS. This was confirmed by the leaders of the coalition Kiril Petkov, Assen Vassilev and Hristo Ivanov after the consultations with President Rumen Radev. 

“GERB is our opponent. We have different views on how the country should develop," said Assen Vassilev. "We are ready to offer a clear opportunity for the National Assembly to elect a government on the second government-forming mandate", said Kiril Petkov. In his words, the Eurozone, Schengen, combatting corruption and the possibility to investigate the prosecutor general are on the coalition's priority list.

"I am well aware that the second place is a test of your political principles, because of your bid for presence in politics as an alternative to the old governance model", Bulgaria’s head of state Radev said.
