EU foreign ministers will meet in Luxembourg for the 11th package of sanctions against Russia and the general procurement of missiles for Ukraine. The first diplomat of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, will participate in the forum via video link.

French President Emmanuel Macron told Le Parisien newspaper that the main task in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is to prevent Russia from winning. He stated that European countries are not directly involved in the conflict to prevent it from expanding into a global one.

Russia announced that its forces had advanced in Bakhmut, seizing two residential blocks, while the commander of Ukrainian ground forces, Gen. Oleksandr Syrskyi, who visited the city, said his forces were holding the front and called each of his fighters heroes, Reuters reported.

The Russian occupation head of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, wrote in Telegram that "there are no enemy forces on the left eastern bank of the Dnieper and that the Russian army is in full control of this territory." The spokeswoman of the Southern Khukran command Nataliya Gumenyuk did not reject or confirm the information spread by Russian military bloggers and called on the media for operational silence.
