Bulgaria's Edmond Nazaryan has won the title in the Olympic category of up to 60 kilograms at the European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship in Zagreb.

In the final, the son of two-time Bulgarian Olympic champion, Armen Nazaryan, defeated the former world champion Victor Ciobanu from Moldova by technical knockout. In 2 minutes, Nazaryan won 9 points against his opponent, and that was enough to win his second European title, after triumphing in the 55 kg category in 2020 in Rome on his debut among men.
Kiril Milov won a silver medal in the 97 kg category, losing in the match for the gold against two-time Olympic champion Artur Aleksanyan of Armenia.
