The dance programme begins this afternoon at 5 PM with the traditional colourful procession of all participants – from Macedonia square to the emblematic Gotse Delchev square, where all groups will take part in a big concert.

Tomorrow, Sunday, there will be a demonstration Bulgarian horo dancing lesson. The participants in this year’s dance event include the folklore dance ensemble of Nilüfer, Bursa in Turkey, the Efrem Karanov dance ensemble from Kratovo in North Macedonia, and Bulgaria’s Nevrokopski folk song and dance ensemble from Gotse Delchev. There will also be three dance groups from Blagoevgrad region, as well as dancers from children’s and educational establishments in Gotse Delchev. Anyone can join in the dance procession – as long as they wear a traditional costume or a T-shirt with folklore elements.
