Under the motto "For the right to association and decent wages!" Bulgaria's largest trade union CITUB has blocked the key Orlov Most junction in central Sofia during today's protest.

CITUB President Plamen Dimitrov said that they insist on the urgent adoption of the budget for 2023 and that 400 million euros are needed to increase salaries in the state sector, including in the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) and the Bulgarian National Television (BNT).

On January 1, 2024, Bulgaria must introduce, like all EU member states, a minimum 15% corporate taxI don't know why all the politicians say they won't raise taxes, asked Dimitrov on BNT.

The Confederation of Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) propose a tax reform in which there will be 15% VAT, 15% corporate profit tax, 15% income tax, and the minimum wage is tax-free.
