Two groups of migrants apprehended in the town of Pernik

Within a day, Pernik police intercepted 57 migrants in two different operations on the territory of the district. Earlier today, 20 people who said they were arriving from Afghanistan were found in a van in one of the city's neighbourhoods. The other 37 refugees were intercepted on the road between Breznik and Pernik - again of Afghan origin and transported in a van stopped for inspection. Police have opened pre-trial proceedings and investigations are ongoing.
