Socialists pessimistic about the first and second mandate

The Socialists withdrew from the talks for forming a government with GERB-SDS, because the real problems of the society were not raised, Alexander Simov of the BSP told national broadcaster BNT. 

In his words, the main problem now is whether there will be a budget, what kind of deficit it will have and what will happen to social payments. Simov believes that GERB-SDS will not be able to win a majority in parliament and if a government is not formed with the first mandate, this will certainly not happen with the second. The Bulgarian Socialist Party will participate in talks with the second political force in parliament, but these talks will carry the same glitch as those for the first.
Simov compares judicial reform to communism, which was said to be in the foreseeable future but never came.

At a plenary meeting of the Bulgarian Socialist Party today it was decided that if a regular government is not formed and a new caretaker government is appointed, members of the BSP should not participate in it.
