The two countries are insisting on a swift diplomatic settlement of the conflict due to the growing risks. President Milanović also commented there exists a risk of Albania and the Republic of North Macedonia being separated in the process of negotiations on accession to the EU because for North Macedonia there are conditions which, if it does not comply with, then, unlike Albania, the negotiations will not continue.
