Radostin Vasilev, the MP from the coalition "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria", who published a scandalous recording of a meeting of "We Continue the Change", has told BNT that he fears for his life and that he is under police protection.

"In no way do I consider myself a traitor, on the contrary - I consider myself a person who has the courage to do what is necessary as society has the right to know," he said, denying information that he had wanted the position of Minister of Sports, but received a rejection.

In the meantime, the Sofia District Prosecutor's Office announced that it had initiated pre-trial proceedings over the fact that on 25.05.2023, an MP of the 49th National Assembly with initials R.V. was forced to do something against his will, as threats were used. On May 26, R.V. provided information to the prosecutor in connection with the initiated pre-trial proceedings. This is also the day when Radostin Vasilev distributed an audio recording of an online meeting of "We Continue the Change" (PP). The content provoked GERB to announce that they were freezing the negotiations for a joint government.
