Angel Niagolov finishes fourth in Equestrian World Cup tournament in Athens

Bulgaria's Angel Niagolov with the horse Chaccball finished in fourth place in the Mytilineos Grand Prix competition at the World Cup jumping tournament in Athens.

Eight competitors passed the main parkour without a mistake and found a place in the barrage to determine the winner, among them the Bulgarian rider.

The winner was the Italian Filippo Codecasa with horse Lugano.

The competition is a qualifying parkour for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Rosen Raichev, Angel Nyagolov, Ivaylo Bonev, Anton Datsinsky and Ventsislav Izov will represent Bulgaria in the team competition today.
