According to President Radev, the new coalition has made the elections meaningless

Before the parliamentary vote on the cabinet proposed by PP-DB and GERB-SDS, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev recommended that the new government "must not betray the national interests the way leaders of the new coalition betrayed the trust of their voters".

According to Radev, the new coalition has made the latest elections meaningless. "You remember how GERB leader Boyko Borissov was traveling across the country to convince people to vote for him, saying PP had ruined the state and that if they were allowed to get in power, they would finish it off. Today, Borissov is giving them all the power. You  also remember how PP occupied the social networks to inspire their followers and tell them that GERB were the mafia and should be erased from Bulgarian politics. Today, they share power with GERB," the president said upon entering the parliament.
