National commemorative gathering held in memory of Aleksandar Stamboliyski

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of Agrarian Union leader and Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Aleksandar Stamboliyski, a national commemorative meeting is being held near Slavovitsa. Organizer is "The United Agrarians" party. According to chair of the organisation, Petya Stavreva, Stamboliyski managed to lead Bulgaria out of the second national catastrophe, to create a working economy and raise the standard of living. "The commemorative event will be attended by many people from all over country", Stavreva points out and adds that the 100th anniversary is an occasion to recall the work of Stamboliyski. "Let's see his example of how the state can be managed in the name of the people and prosperity", the leader of "United Agrarians" also points out .
