Film with Bulgarian participation awarded at film festival in Casablanca

The film with Bulgarian participation Brighton 4th has received awards for the best director of Levan Koguashvili and actor Levan Tediashvili at the second edition of the festival for independent cinema in Casablanca, Art Fest reports. 

The film of the Georgian director participated in the international feature competition. Levan Tediashvili, in the lead role, is a legend of Georgian wrestling, a two-time Olympic and five-time world champion in freestyle. His first world title was from Sofia in 1971. For his first appearance in the cinema, Tediashvili was awarded the award for best actor at the Tribeca festival in the USA in 2021. 

Part of the Bulgarian participation are the costumes of Eka Bichinashvili and the sound of Svetlozar Georgiev

"Brighton 4th" is a co-production between Georgia, Russia, Bulgaria, Monaco and the USA with the support of Bulgaria's National Film Centre.  

Producers from the Bulgarian side are Stefan Kitanov and Mira Staleva.
