A closing conference dedicated to the reform for deinstitutionalization of child care in Bulgaria will take place today in Plovdiv. The forum "Continuing Support for Deinstitutionalization of Children and Youth" is under the patronage of President Rumen Radev and held in partnership with several ministries, the State Agency for Child Protection, UNICEF and NGOs.

The project, launched in 2018, aims to find alternatives for children and young people in disadvantaged situations to be raised in a family environment and to provide them with access to the labour market after completing secondary education and leaving institutions.
