On Friday, in Northwestern Bulgaria and in the central mountainous regions of the country, there will be intense and significant precipitation, reaching up to 30-50 liters per square meter. Orange code was declared for dangerous precipitation in 9 areas, and yellow in another 7. It will be mostly sunny over the eastern areas of the country. The lowest temperatures will range between 15 and 18°C; in Sofia - about 15°C. The highest temperatures will reach 21 to 30°C; in Sofia - about 21°C.
It will be sunny at the Black Sea coast. The highest air temperatures will be about 23-26°C. Sea water temperature is 22-23°C.
In the mountains, mainly in the western and central massifs, intense precipitation is expected. The temperature at an altitude of 1200 m will be up to 17°C, at 2000 m up to 10°C.
During the weekend it will be rainy in the eastern regions, too. There is an high chance of hail. Precipitation on Saturday, mainly in the region of Rila and the Rhodope mountains and in the Sub-Balkan valleys, will be 50-70 liters per square meter.
