Young people in Bulgaria inclined to have children and remain in Bulgaria: survey

78% of young Bulgarians want to have a child in the coming years, indicate data from a survey by the online marketing research agency JTN и Bulgaria Wants You, conducted in May 2023 among 500 men and women aged 18-35, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reports.

Most of the respondents, 92% say they see themselves in Bulgaria in the next 5 years. 45% say trusting in the person next to them is essential for becoming a parent, 46% point to income stability. For 68% adequate payment is the most important factor for a good working environment, for 45% - a friendly environment at work, for 43% - a good work-life balance, and for 41% - a flexible work schedule.
