Shooter Antoaneta Kostadinova wins silver at the European Games

Antoaneta Kostadinova won a silver medal at the ongoing European Games in Poland. In the 25m Pistol Women's Medal Match the Bulgarian shooter scored 26 points, only one point less than gold-winner Anna Korakaki from Greece.

Bulgaria now has three medals from the European Games in Kraków and Małopolska with Ivet Goranova's silver in karate, Kostadinova's silver and the bronze medal won by Antoaneta Kostadinova and Samuil Donkov in the 10m pistol shooting mix.

The Games, which take place between 21 June and 2 July, offer competitors in 10 sports - archery, artistic swimming, boxing, breaking, canoe slalom, diving, modern pentathlon, rugby, shooting and table tennis - the opportunity to earn quotas for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
