The Aviation Museum in Burgas will open its doors free of charge today to visitors on the occasion of its 6th birthday and the Day of Bulgarian Civil Aviation.

At the airport in Burgas, visitors will see the real "legend" of aviation - the An-12 aircraft, in which there is an interactive exhibition, as well as the Tu-154 jet passenger aircraft, whose first flight was to the city of Manchester (England), serving the Bulgarian Civil Service aviation for 15 years and last landed at Burgas Airport on October 31, 1996.

Thrill-seekers can try their aviator skills with a test flight with the MiG-17 F Fresco, as well as with the front-line fighter MiG-17, which was the most widespread aircraft during the war in Vietnam, reports BTA.

An exhibition of drones will also await visitors.

On June 29, 1947, the first passenger flight of the Bulgarian civil aviation in the country took place on the route Sofia - Burgas.
