There is a targeted campaign against the Bulgarian tourist season. This is what the Minister of the Environment and Water, Julian Popov, told Nova TV. In his words, "leading Russian journalists are discussing on air how to take advantage of the explosion of the Nova Kakhovka dam to ruin the tourist season of Bulgaria and Romania," said Popov.

The aim is to cause discontent and protests for peace in support of Russia. "Expectations were for a very good season, but many reservations have already been canceled due to the panic due to unscrupulous publications on social networks about the cleanliness of our sea," a hotelier told BNR Varna.
The latest data of the Ministry of the Environment, presented today, do not show pollution of the Bulgarian waters of the Black Sea with potential pollutants as a result of the incident in Nova Kakhovka.
