Rain showers expected in Western and Central Bulgaria on Sunday

On Sunday, a cold atmospheric front will pass through the country. Cumulus clouds will develop in Western and Central Bulgaria. There will be brief showers and thunderstorms. There are also conditions for hail. 

There will be more sunny hours before noon in Eastern Bulgaria, but in the evening it will rain and thunder there as well. 

The maximum temperatures will be from 26 °C - 27 °C in the west to 33 °C-34 °C in the east, in Sofia - around 26 °C.

It will be mostly sunny along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop, but it will remain almost precipitation-free. Highs will reach 26 °C-30 °C. The temperature of the sea water is at 23 °C-24 °C.

Clouds will develop over the mountains. There will be brief showers with thunder. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 22 °C, at 2,000 metres - around 14 °C.
